Here are examples of some of my film work and conceptual exploration of ideas. I am presently in development of some movie projects that can be found on my production site.(coming soon)
The Test
This is a demo from a film I'm developing entitled "A Man Caught in a Culdron of Violence". it was shot when on a short trip to Ghana in 2024.
I grabbed some actors and headed off to the beach after writing a test scene the night before and shot the next morning. Production is scheduled to start in the fall of 2025
Vännäs Concerto
Shot on a visit to my inlaws over Christmas. This is part one of a series of short films I'm developing about the sleepy little town and its surroundings. l

Schiff on ice
An impromptu little film I shot whilst watching my ice hocky fanatic buddy make the the ice for the neighbourhood. It is purely voluntary and the neigborhood allways show their apprecation for this crazy American living in sweden, who is out there every winter making the ice. He of course is a very successful, writer, actor and producer.

The Master
A short clip about my fellow Ghanian Schaff, who is one of the premier barbers in Sweden, who has a long list of swedish and international stars as his clients. It is not unusual for him to have to pick up and fly off to New York just to give someone a haircut.
He also runs a succeful barbering school in Stockholm.

J and J Go Large
Lifestyle Pilot
This trailer is from a lifestyle and travel show concept I created, featuring mixologist James Passmore and chef John Berglund as they journey around the world exploring global food and drink culture.
We filmed two pilot episodes one in Sweden and another across Mexico capturing the spirit of culinary adventure and cultural discovery. Although the show wasn’t picked up, the experience was unforgettable and full of creative energy.
A spin-off series is now in development, with a planned release in early 2026.
UNHCR
Music video
Commissioned in 1993 by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees as part of a global campaign. It was a fun project and I was able to collaborate with Jazzie B of Soul II Soul on the music for the piece.

Make Love Not Aids
Jada Pinkett Smith appeared as the lead female in the 1992 World AIDS Day Commercial "Make Love Not Aids," that I created and directed right out of film school. This was the first commercial produced for the day and was quite controversial for its depiction of people making love.

The Ladder
Short film/ Series concept Pilot
This is a concept pilot I created for a Twilight Zone style anthology series that explores the dark underbelly of a shadowed, fictional city. Each episode unfolds over the course of a single, unrelenting night different stories, different lives all spiraling into chaos after a crime has been committed.
Inspired by the haunting moral landscapes of Dante’s Inferno and Paradise Lost, the series delves into the psychological and spiritual descent of its characters, drawing viewers into a world where guilt, temptation, and consequence blur the line between justice and damnation.
Though the pilot remains a proof of concept for now, it stands as a window into a city where every corner hides a secret, and every choice carries a cost.
Mahotella Queens & Klubbkören live at Trädgården Stockholm
The Mahotella Queens is a South African female group formed in 1964 by producer Rupert Bopape.
They became famous for their vocal harmonies, mbaqanga music, and lively performances with Mahlathini.
Backed by the Makgona Tsohle Band, they had major success in the 1960s with members like Hilda Tloubatla.
Despite lineup changes in the 1970s, the group remained popular and reunited in 1987 for global tours.
They continue to perform today, celebrating decades of South African musical heritage.

A bit of humour
On november 9th 2016, by buddy Schiff and I stayed up all night to watch the US elections. Upset by the results decided to go for a walk, and to shoot some enviromental shots of the over night snow dump. We ended up with this.
