This is the entrance to the death cell at Elmina castle in Ghana. It was a dutch slave fort and once a captive was thrown into the cell they died there. Walking into the cell with the doors shut behind, with no light or air, the brutality and inhumanity of the trade is quickly brought home to you.

All prints are on Archival pigment print on Hahnemühle® Photo Rag paper.* Signed and numbered with certificate of authenticity. Available image sizes are in centimeters, not including white border (2cm to 3cm wide).

Aluminum Print

Aluminum is an elegant mounting material. The picture is mounted with a professional mounting adhesive on the front of the aluminum sheet. The edges of the aluminum are sanded and the sheet has a thickness of 2 mm. The mounting is highly durable and of gallery quality.
